I was out picking up a few things to snack on for tonight, and when I got back these were left in the hall addressed to me. There was a note, too. It mentioned Serenity and everyone... Could it be-? I would like to thank whoever sent the flowers! ♥

Anyway, here's the loot I scrounged up for us, Zack:

1 party-size bag of M&M's
1 bag of pixy stix
1 bag of chocolate-chip cookies
1 tub of cookie dough ice cream
lots of fresh strawberries
2 boxes of something called Pocky (?)
1 2-liter bottle of soda
1 pack of water bottles
1 bottle of vodka
1 deck of cards
2 movie rentals (The Matrix and Army of Darkness - Dean reccommended them!)

Er, I kinda went overboard (so used to shopping for several people at once!) so if it's all right with you, maybe we could invite some people over? Until curfew, anyway. Maybe the pizza place delivers?

Has anyone else seen what's outside the hotel? I was wandering around the stores when I saw it and haven't been able to tear myself away from the window since! It's- amazing! Where did it come from? I've never been so unhappy that I'm stuck inside and can't go out and examine it myself! :(

Oh, and Inara! I saw this at the store-- It's pink! And cheery! ♥ You don't think it's too dressy for the dance though, do you? I wasn't sure...

I spent the first couple of minutes having a staring contest with those eye-thingies~ They finally blinked and I won! Yes! Then I had a nice chat with another guest. I didn't recognize him from anywhere, and he wasn't my roommate (hi, Neji!) I turned around and suddenly he was gone. :\ There really isn't much to do up here, so maybe he just got bored? Could have told me he was leaving though. Oh, well. If he sees this, let's talk again, 'kay? :)

...Oh, and the bath is more like a pool now. Which reminds me, I should go swimming sometime. Um. Do they give lessons here?

I'm a tad transfixed by the guys on the TV. A tiny bit. It's funny to watch, but also kinda hot. I mean, I've never seen any other boy move like that! Or sing like that, either. Is this that thing called culture-shock?

That preacher wandering around gave me a small crucifix, like a charm or pendant. I think I could put it on a chain or something to wear. It's not really my sort of jewelry, but... Well, why throw it away? Not like it could get caught on any machinery in this place. I can afford to fancy myself up a bit. :)

They're floppy and white and I can twitch 'em on command! They don't actually make my hearing better though. But aren't they cute~? I also seem to have a little fluffy tail but um, you can't see it and I don't think my roommate would appreciate me running around pantless.

Gee, I kinda want something to nibble on right now.

Well, except for the funny talking thing. But hey, no ghosts! Bad ones, that is (sorry Zack!)

I'm on the same floor... I was kind of scared, seeing what happened last time, but nothing's flown across the room yet. Same rainforest theme, but it looks...like something twisted it up or something. It don't make any sense either. As for the uh, creative wallpaper... I can't help but feel that a higher being wants to send me a message. 'You know you want to have sex, Kaylee. See what you're missing out on.'

I think it would be a good way to brighten the place up. ♥

What's the biggest, fairly open room in the hotel? Right now I think the best bet would be the lobby... It's got a nice fountain and lovely lighting from the chandelier. We could set up some tables and chairs on the sides and the restaurants could supply all sorts of food and desserts! Maybe we could even get the employees to extend curfew... It wouldn't be any fun if the party was cut short so early in the evening.

Decorations? A theme, maybe? Something sparkly!

Music? Unless any of the bots can play instruments, we could make a playlist on someone's Gadget and hook it up to some mighty big speakers. It wouldn't be fancy or professional, but it'd be something to dance to!

It feels like forever since that Shindig (which turned out just fine in the end. I mean, a little stabbing never hurt no one...much. The captain recovered from it!) I'd love an excuse to dress up and make nice again. Inara, I'm going to count on your expertise. ;)

Umm, does anyone have an ice pack? I somehow got clonked on the head by the TV remote. It's just a bit sore is all, and I think I'm getting a headache. Also, the bedside table seems to have flown across the room fallen over and broken, but I can fix that no problem! Not so sure about the wallpaper peeling off the wall though... Maybe if it all comes off I can just...paint something in its place?

Other than that, my new room is shiny! I kinda miss my tree, but there's tons more plants on this floor. Some vine-y things are draped all across the ceiling with little pink flowers, and the sounds in this place are amazing. I might be too excited to sleep tonight!
